I believe the menu when i was there had a few options
Aloha Apoovra, We have big news coming soon. Feel free to tune into our Instagram page for in the moment info!
I think booking would be better, it's a busy place as it's very popular. I would suggest calling or emailing them to reserve just in case.
The place is pretty casual, but I would say most people there are dressed "casual, but nice". Nice jeans and a cute top would definitely work. Not white table cloth fancy, but you might feel a little out of place if you go in sneakers and gym shorts. Also, if you haven't made a reservation I would definitely recommend it! They open up about a month ahead of the date. Have fun and enjoy!
Aloha Lucy, While we can not assist with reservations as this department is off site. We would recommend keep a close watch on reservations as cancels are common. Be flexible with time, use the "notify me" feature to get notifications of cancellations via text message. Also, visit lycsf.com and click on the walk-in waitlist tab. You can also try calling the reservationist after 2pm but all reservations we have are always shown on-line. Hope this is helpful!
I would call the credit card company, inform them of the issue and ask them to waive the $2 and to send me a new credit card.
I would highly recommend getting a reservation if you're going to have that many people. I would say you would spend at least $50-$70 depending on your appetite and if you're going to be ordering drinks. I would definitely share since there are so many great dishes. I think it's all about the experience!
I think if you give them your number they will let you know on a given night.
We have several veg options and some vegan options. We also always have a off menu market inspired veg entree daily! Hope to have you in soon!
Had an early dinner here on the weekend. Decent lineup on opening. Food and customer service were great.
MoreEasily one of my favorite restaurants in the city. It's super popular, so try to make reservations at least one month in advance! Very chic and modern. The dim lighting creates a more intimate atmosphere. At the same time, the music is bumping and the chatter can get pretty loud. Service is extremely friendly and helpful.
MoreI want to applaud Liholiho with their customer service. It's not often that you feel so welcomed. Even though it's been a month and a half, I still remember the dining experience like it was yesterday. The stand out would be the scallops and pork belly. It was melt in your mouth delicious. Their brined pork chop was so juicy and I loved how they incorporated blueberries into the dish.
MoreGreat modern restaurant with full bar service. We ordered their popular small plates. Every dish we ordered was excellent. Service was also top notch. Would definitely come back next time I'm in San Francisco. The wait was about 18 minutes without reservation.
MoreI had a great dining experience at Liholiho!! The place was packed on a Saturday night, but they also offered full food service at the bar. I had the beef tongue buns, octopus, and black sesame mousse cake. I was worried I wouldn't leave full, based on Google maps photos, but the portions are actually perfect! Every dish was packed with flavor, and very satisfying. The buns are a must-have for any diner, and I loved how the richness of the black sesame mousse was cut by the sharpness of the powerful sorbet. I sat next to many happy couples sharing all kinds of combination plates, and the cocktails looked fabulous, as well. Lots of options to suit all different price points. HIGHLY recommend.
MoreGood choice for seafood, American foods, and modern spicy foods. There is a bar also. The drinks are great, everybody likes to taste once. Foods such as Beef tongue, Baked Hawaii, Tuna poke, Dust liver toast, fried oyster and short rib are awesome here.
MoreGreat seating section. Food was good. Small plate was delicious. Atmosphere was good.
MoreOne of my favourite restaurants in SF! Their octopus and kale salad was superb. Would definitely recommend reserving as it fills up quickly. Walk in standing area at the bar is available too.
MoreThis place was awesome. The right amount of quality of food and casual fancy vibes. Worth the splurge (:
MoreService is friendly & fast! Loud, trendy, clean place, fresh food, decor is modern, cool bar in basement. I recommend the kimchi fried rice, and the beef ribs. Menu is always changing, so some items may be added or some items may be taken off. I am definitely going back again
MorePlace is rock-solid. Shoot for the bar around 5 if possible or make a reservation. Food is amazing, service is as well - attention to detail across the board is noteworthy.
MoreSuper tasty and interesting meal with a great take on (as far as I'm told) Hawaiian fare. All of our dishes were great with a couple being downright fantastic. Cocktails were also quite nice. Service was very nice and the interiors were simple but thoughtful. Would happily go again!
MoreWe have been to this place twice and both times were great! The first time we dined a la cart and really enjoyed it. Every dish was complex and tasty. Our most recent visit, we dined with a large group and had the tasting menu. Those dishes were also great. They were very accommodating regarding food allergies and preferences as well. Also, the cocktail bar and small plate menu downstairs is fantastic as well!!
MorePretty good. But I honestly wouldn't pay so much for Hawaiian or Asian fusion. It's definitely gourmet and every plate was interesting and yummy. Would I come here again? Only if it was for a special occasion. I wouldn't choose it for my own special occasions though. They mention that their dishes can be family style but I really don't see that. Most of the dishes aren't really for sharing in a family sense. Like more than 3 people sharing is difficult. If they say family style, I feel like sharing between 2-3 people is max. We purchased a lot of dishes for 6 people because the portions were not big. I think I'm gonna go enjoy my Hawaiian plate lunchs in the corner. Also the head chef is cute. And tall.
MoreExcellent food, terrific cocktails and great staff. Always consistent - have been coming here for a few years now. If you are not too hungry, order a few starters. The entrees can be heavy, but are delicious.Really like the walk in seating if you don't have a reservation, but be prepared to wait, and it's worth it!Tried the Gen - Gen room for the first time, which was fun and casual... Great for a drink and small bite
MoreI have never experienced better service at a restaurant than we did here. The staff were so attentive and helped make the experience wonderful. The food was great too - we would definitely come back!
MoreEverything here was fantastic. Drinks, dinner, service everything was so great. We ordered several things none disappointed. Hawaiian themed tapas is such a great idea. Don't skip out on dessert either. The baked Hawaiian was amazing!

MoreSeriously, what wasn’t great here? The food was eclectic but so flavorful and the portions were decently large. I definitely recommend the sweetbreads and the beef ribs. Even the sweet potato endive salad with black sesame maple blue cheese dressing (?!?!) was deliciously weird. Not just the food but also the wines and the service—all fantastic. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in SF and manage to snag a reservation ; )
MoreThe food, cocktails and service are magical. Yesterday was able to walk in and get seated, normally a 3 week wait for reservations.
MoreBuzzy, casual eatery for Hawaiian, Indian & Chinese dishes in a brick-walled space with booths.
MoreLoved the food and the service! Didn’t have reservations so went a bit on the earlier side but well worth the wait. Loved the off menu home made spam as well as the short rib with bone marrow. Baked Hawaii for desert was a must, even though I’m not a big desert guy.
MoreHave eaten here the past two times I've been in SF for work. Food is AMAZING and I will continue to return. Would recommend going with a group so you can order a lot and try different things. That said, it seems very hard to get in without a reservation, but if you're a solo diner you should have no problem getting a seat at the bar.

MoreExcellent dining experience here. Food is delicious & innovative and service was excellent. All servers were extremely knowledgeable about the wines, recommendations were spot on, priced fairly and paired with our dishes very well. Servers were also sensitive to & helpful with dietary restriction requests. We will definitely return.

MoreThe food was original and tasty, a bit expensive. The restaurant was beautifully designed with an open kitchen and comfy tables. Staff was nice and helped us understand the differents dishes of the menu.
MoreReally enjoyed the experience, delicious food! Familiar items with a unique, dynamic twist and flavor. Absolutely loved the grilled short rib, which I usually don't usually like at most places (someone else had ordered it and I was jealous). Everything was really great. Highly recommend the cocktails!
MoreGreat restaurant in San Francisco! Varied menu with great options for all palates and preferences, with a strong Hawaiian influence. Nice ambiance inside as well, clean & simple interior, friendly and knowledgeable staff with great efficiency. Good cocktails and wines by the glass, too. Really enjoyed it, definitely recommend.
MoreWe got a reservation when they opened at 5p. All the tables filled up within minutes. It's a must try if you're visiting San Francisco! The food is so innovative and delicious. Wonderful attentive service as well. We shared several of the small plates. Highly recommend the tuna poke, yellowtail sashimi and the soft shell crab katsu. We didn't love the browkaw avocado but appreciated the beautiful presentation of it and all the dishes. It's pricey but worth the different tastes exploding in your mouth. We'll certainly be visiting again.

MoreHands down one of the must-try food experiences in Tenderloin. Short rib, kimchi fried rice w/ house-made spam, and chocolate cake are amazing! Staffs are attentive. Atmosphere is lively. Can't wait to go back!
MoreWe ordered couple dishes and some desserts... I was not disappointed at all. The cocktails were beautifully created but can be very strong, warning. The service was very fast and accommodating. I would love to come back here one day when I do visit SF again
MoreFood portion is big but not alot of flavor. Simple flavors not for me .

MoreNice and clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Food was quick and outstanding. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Great food
MoreI had an excellent time here the other night. Service, food, and atmosphere is A++
MoreWe had lunch at this restaurant a few times while visiting family and friends. The servers here are just wonderful! We sat near the ocean and enjoyed the view of our delicious wine and lunch. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful waitress, Alexa. She had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency.
MoreI can't stop raving about this place, the dishes are all so creative and so delicious. We shared the beef tongue baos, seafood coconut curry, ginormous pork ribs, and baked Hawaii. I highly recommend any of these dishes! I can't wait to go back.
MoreWent here to celebrate a birthday. I wrote them a note when I placed the reservation and our dessert arrived with a fun sparkler! We ordered two one appetizer (fried pigs ears), two small plates (grilled octopus and kimchi friend rice), and one entree (pork ribs) to share. I wanted to try more, but I didn't want to take home too many leftovers. The staff were really nice and helpful! Perfect place to celebrate a dear friend and have delicious food!
MoreFabulous bao and rice pudding, but the fried rice and pork chop were so salty that my friend and I couldn't even finish half of either. Sadly, my stomach still feels uneasy after dinner. Wouldn't recommend.
MoreUnexpected find as we were looking to go to a different place that turned out to be closed. Liholiho was packed even though it was very late at night, but we were able to secure a standing spot at the bar and have our dinner there. The quality was absolutely stunning... especially the tuna poke on a cracker... yum. Service was good. The only downside I would say is that it prices are pretty steep. Overall well worth it though.
MoreYaaas, family style Hawaiian food! The "Baked Alaska" dessert is an all-time favorite here, and I also like their meats, although the ribs weren't fall-off-the-bone like I typically prefer. Still, I can understand why there's perpetually a wait for this restaurant. Either go super early or late -- otherwise, be prepared to wait 1-1.5 hours.

MoreIt was difficult to get reservations, but once I did, the rest of my experience was a breeze! Once I got there, I was seated immediately. The wait staff were extremely fast and efficient. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing. This place ABSOLUTELY lives up to its hype.
MoreReally an amazing experience all around. The food is outstanding, loved every single thing I tried and I tried a lot. The Kung Pao Sweetbreads are seriously amazing, the flavors are super unique in all the dishes, cocktails are also so good (the Clifton Special is unreal)
MoreThis restaurant is perfect for any occasion! I was really glad that we went here because it was indeed a better way to celebrate my birthday. The place looked so romantic and just so perfect. The staff also gave us a really great service, and they were very nice to work with. Thanks to everyone here! It was indeed the best birthday celebration of mine. Thank you very much!
MoreThis restaurant got the best food ever! I am deeply impressed by how they handled the service correctly with no hassles at all. They provided me a great service with a competitive food taste. The place was also very cleaned and the chairs were well-arranged. I will highly recommend your awesome and affordable restaurant!
MoreGreat experience at Liholiho Yacht Club. It’s not the biggest location so it can get very busy. Highly recommend making a reservation. The food was all amazing and the service was also exceptional. We were seated near the kitchen so it was really cool being able to watch all the chefs do their thing. Highly recommend if you’re visiting San Fran.
